If the Applicant has adverse comment on the result, he/ she can lodge an appeal upon settlement of an appeal fee of HK$1,500 per case in 45 calendar days from the issue date of the provisional application result notification email.
Applicants should pay both application fee and licence fee for the CIC Green Product Certification.

Remarks:
- The application will be processed upon receipt of the application fee. The application fee is non-refundable regardless of the application result.
- Applicants are required to complete the whole application within 12 months from the application submission date. Otherwise a new submission is required and the Applicant is required to pay the application fee again.
- The above fee does not include bank charges and other extra fees (e.g. fees on remittance, postage, transportation, etc.). Applicants should be responsible for settling the above expenses.
- The above fee does not include testing and verification reports submitted by the applicant as part of the CIC Green Product Certification requirements.
- The HKGBC reserves the right to change the above terms and conditions when deemed appropriate.

Remarks:
- If applicants have any adverse comments on the certification result, they can lodge an appeal in writing, with an appeal registration fee of HK$1,500 per application, within 45 calendar days from the issue date of the result notification email.
- The above fee does not include bank charges and other extra fees (e.g. fees on remittance, postage, transportation, etc.). Applicants should be responsible for settling the above expenses.
- It is suggested to commence the licence renewal process at least two months prior to the expiry date.
- Please note that the validity period for all laboratory reports and documentation is 5 years from the date of issue. A re-assessment through a new application process will be required if:
- The product has been changed, including but not limited to product name, components, characteristics, manufacturing processes, testing and commissioning processes;
- The laboratory report or documentation is older than 5 years; or
- The assessment standard for the relevant product category has been updated.
