Renewal Requirements and Procedures
Certified Scheme Verifier (CSV) is an individual who is qualified to assist Verification Body to verify the supporting documents against the assessment standards for particular product categories under CIC Green Product Certification. Below please find the relevant information for your reference.

- Complete the relevant CSV Training Course organised by HKGBC.
- Pass the relevant CSV Examination organised by HKGBC.
- Hold ISO 14001 Certified Lead Auditor* or have at least three years of experience in environmental-related auditing/ verification**.
*For applicants who hold relevant certificate, please ensure that the certificate is valid.

The HKGBC will organise CSV training from time to time. If you wish to be listed as a VB and would like to train a CSV, please send an email with subject “CSV Training” to [email protected] for details.
Renewal Requirements and Procedures
To renew, the CSV has to provide two project references related to verification of building products for the past three years. The renewal of CSV certificate will be valid for 3 years. CSV who failed to renew the certificate will be suspended. The CSV should submit the project reference verification letter via email to [email protected] with the subject line “CSV Renewal” at least two months before the expiry date.
